   I believe you can do /call (playername) if you want to tp to a player . Its like another version of /tpa.

1 i used a lot is the PS command:
/ps toggle prevent-mob-spawn

it will let you protect an area with your spawners in it, but still allow the mobs to spawn within that PS region

I think that as long as the dog is standing, it will tp and follow you around. You have to make it sit to get it to stay put. I do not believe that there is a command for that, especially since you don't have to name your dogs/cats.

I'd like to point out the /look [Number] command. This is used after you do a /buy OR /sell command. After you do /buy or /sell, it will give you a list. To the right of the player name that owns the shop, there will be a number. (cheapest to most expensive, just like the list). If you do /look [Number that a certain store is] it will point your head in the direction of the shop. Useful for big stores will things everywhere. This works for /buy and /sell the same way.
