What Resource Packs do you use?
« Opened on September 09, 2018, 02:23:03 PM »
What are some of the resource/texture packs folks out there are using on Famcraft? My kids keep asking me to install one for them - they want it fancy, with a shader and resource pack. But, wow, are there a lot out there! Some are really resource intensive, cost real money or are incomplete.

On a related note, are there any nice shader packs that doesn't make the torchlight way too orange? Seems like every one I've tried does that. As the most common light source in Minecraft, I don't want my interiors completely orange.

So, Famcraft community, if you aren't playing stock vanilla, what do you use?

I recommend texture packs that won't cause too much lag or cost money. Just don't get ones that need money to get access to it. I'm not a person to ever use sharers before, but they are good if you don't lag too much.

From what I've seen most shaders packs are not really for playing the game in they just seem to be for taking pictures and looking around. A lot of them make the dark areas even darker and are just a pain lol.

I use the faithful texture pack.

This is exactly what I'm seeing playing around with a few. I need to let me kids try it though and go to Cougar's shop and watch their framerate drop to 7. They'll stop asking for the pretty graphics then. :)

Lol I agree with Kenny there. Anyway, Zerop, if your kids have usual amounts of bad frames per second, I would recommend packs with a low amount of pixels. 16x and 32x are good for fps, anything higher will most likely have a low amount of fps. Those are 64x 128x 256x 512x.
