Redstone builds

Some of you may know, but I am working on a large scale redstone tutorial area. And you can help me!
What I would like from anyone and everyone is to give me suggestions for builds (it can be anything from a system to lock doors, to special doors, to some automatic farms) that you would like to see built and explained how it works. Post it here, and in time, I will incorporate your suggestion!

As in a chest which discards all the items you put in? That's a good one, thanks for the suggestion!

Feel free to go look at my shop on the 2nd floor of H-mart. You can copy or improve upon anything there of mine.
Zerop:
Since it's a tutorial area, I suggest showing the different kinds of circuits and clocks - the building blocks of all redstone circuits: torch clock, piston clock, hopper clock, logic gates (AND, OR, NAND, XOR gates), etc.
