Alternate clients?

Hello,

My son logged into Famcraft after quite some time away and I noticed he was using an alternate Client. I told him I'm not sure if that's allowed here as I don't really know myself what that client does to the game other than some onscreen info. So I am asking for him, are alternate clients something allowed here or should he just use the regular client for Famcraft? Thanks!

I'm replying to my own post. I went and researched this alternate client and their own website and FAQ don't even specifiy what it modifies. I'm just going to tell him it's not allowed. That's best I feel. Thanks.
