Nametagged mobs

I have had 3 mobs now that despawned in a place where they could not have been escaped.
Could it be this is not working in MP, or that this might be a new setting somewhere in the plugins as since 1.6.x ?

Is there anything we can do about it ? might it be some server setting that still removes entities ?

I will try to look into fixing this. This type of problem is usually resolved by a spigot or minecraft update so I was waiting to get settled in my new "home" before attempting to update spigot.

Spigot has been updated. Can you check after the next restart and see if the problem persists?
