Pretty much, I mean, you're constantly on your Mom's phone...

KittyMew113:

Hey everyone!

I built myself a new Famcraft Admin Control Station!

It started life 120 miles from home, at a home depot in my hometown. Since moving to my new apartment, I don't really have a place to work and build things, so I commissioned the assistance of Kealper to help me cut the lumber, and assemble the desk in his basement. From there, we loaded it up in my car ( a relatively impressive feet as it's an 8 foot long desk in a a sedan), and I was on my way to my apartment! (This picture is actually before it was assembled, but the assembled desk looked about the same in my car:

Then when I got it home, I lugged it inside (It weighs quite a bit, as the top is doubled 3/4" birch plywood and 3 2x4s) and attached the legs!

Then flipped it, filled some screw holes with some wood putty, and sanded it down:

Then tossed some deep red stain on it!

What desk is complete without built in outlets, switches for lights, and built in USB power outlets (cabinet door pulls are for cable organizers on the back):

But... silver? On my nice deep red stained desk? D: I think not! Sanded em down and sprayed them with some satin black spray paint (I probably should have done this outside... I'm sure my neighbors were happy with me :D (windows open, fans, safety first, etc)):

Then, flipped it back over, took the legs off, filled a bunch of screw holes with more putty, sanded em down, and gave them a few coats of stain as well. (I wanted to protect the floor if I put this desk on my tile, etc, so I added felt feet):

From there, re-attached the legs, and started assembling the electrical! Added the boxes and door pulls on the back, and wired in the outlets (12-2 romex, 15 A outlets, but I am only going to be putting about ~400W through the desk at any one time, and the whole desk will be plugged into my battery backup):

Then from there, flipped it up, put it in place, and started stacking computer stuff on it! (Finished shots!):

With a desk this big, you can have half of this one!
