I don't do pics but...
I do stories.
I don't condone being overly critical of ones own appearance because I am a big believer in not judging books by their covers. All people are beautiful to me. All faces are like works of art. Old and young, any color, shape, size, any markings, scars or lack thereof. They are all beautiful, and wonderful, and perfect. In this world, your face is as unique as your fingerprint. It belongs only to you- and it is just right.
Go look in a mirror right now, and tell yourself how beautiful you are! Then you can come right on back and finish reading.
A story:
Once upon a time, I looked into the mirror with my glasses on, and then I removed my glasses, and I looked again with my glasses off. I thought my appearance was greatly improved by removing my glasses. :D
I was happy about this.
I quickly set up an eye exam, and went to get contacts, instead of glasses.
I could hardly wait for the contacts to come in so I could try them out, and see the new improved me in the mirror.
It felt like forever, even though it was just a few days. Finally, my contacts came in and I picked them up.
I rushed home, and put the contacts right in.
I took a step back to look in the mirror.... and.......
Found I looked exactly the same as I did with glasses on :/
Seems it was the lack of VISION that had improved my appearance, rather than the lack of glasses, lol. haha. Lesson learned.
