Experience "disappearing"

I've noticed that, when teleporting (notably, between dimensions) my experience sometimes disappears and resets to 0.  It is not gone, as a quick relog returns the xp to where it should be.  I can verify that the xp is actually gone, as trying to enchant with 0 xp (after then glitch when I should have 30 levels) does not allow me to enchant anything until the xp is restored by relog.

Yeah, this is a vanilla Minecraft bug, I *think* jeb is aware of it, might be fixed in 1.3.2, hopefully...

I have determined today that obtaining more xp will also restore the amount of xp that you are supposed to have.

If you switch worlds, you will lose all your EXP. However, its only a visual glitch! Kill something, and you will have all your EXP back. This is likely to get fixed in 1.4.

No no, I believe Mojang is working on 2 branches of Minecraft at the moment, there is a 1.3 bugfixing branch as well as the 1.4 features branch.
