IRC Issues

For some reason, I can't connect to IRC. It doesn't take me to the game chat. Help?

I think whats happening to him was what happened to me, you would click connect then it would act like it was bringing up the chat (With the text and stuff...) And it would just stop. And not connect you. I dont know how I fixed it though.
