Can't Connect (Possibly problem on my end)

Is survival up and running? Past few days I've been trying to connect and nada. It tells me "Outdated server! I'm on {0}!" and usually where the {0} is it will give me a Minecraft version I should be playing on.

Switch your version of the game to 1.7.4 or lower in the profile editor on the Minecraft launcher.
