Diamonds, and I want more!

Hi there, my name is dashades131. On famcraft, I have decent items, but I can take it anymore that I don't enough diamonds to make pixel art with diamond blocks. I actually probably won't be doing that, but I still would enjoy to look at a diamond ore and not really care if a creeper was to explode it. I need tips on finding diamonds, and the only decent method that I've found is the efficiency 5 and the haste 2 beacon, but that is eating up my pickaxe durability.  I don't know what level to mine at, and I think Y=11 has higher percentage of finding diamonds. I like diamonds a lot, and want more. I would love it if someone were to give me tips on how to find diamonds.

When I mine for diamonds, I dig down to about y12.


* Dig a tunnel 2 blocks wide, by 3 blocks tall to make a "main" tunnel. From there, you will make branches!
* Pick a side (right or left) and start digging a 1 wide, by 3 blocks tall tunnel, as far as you can go.
* When you've gone as far down as you like, turn to the left (or right) and dig over three blocks.
* Then start digging back down (there will be a 2 block thick wall between you and your other tunnel, that way you can see any ore between you).


I usually make it 3-wide block wall, but I know a lot of people use 2 just to make sure :)
It will take a while, so be patient <3

I usually make a beacon at Y12 and just silk touch ALL the things(remember to us torches or a ps stone, because, mobs) I hope that helped :D

I just go caving a lot and get down to diamond level ASAP.  A lot of times that means I look for a ravine at the bottom of the ocean as that normally has me at diamond level or very very close.

oh ghouls... poorly misinformed ghouls, you think im actually gonna be productive in my mining :P lol

i used to do the tunneling thing like ghouls but i ran out of patience :P  now i just find a cave, ravine, ect... and try to get near diamond level and just obliterate everything... >:D
