What does Honey have to do with a Bunny?

Umm... If you've ever heard the nickname "Honey Bun" used between a couple or in TV show. Well, my girlfriend decided that it should be "Honey Bunny" instead, so she lengthened it and called me by that when she was being silly or playful. So anytime someone says Honey, my brain just completes the phrase with Bunny.
So what is the word associated with Bunny?
