Potatoes are like... for example like duct tape, it has many uses one of the uses for potatoes is food and cooking and this is the recipe:
Potato carrot cake: 1 potato 1 carrot and Pie (because everyone likes pie)

Potato salad: Potato and salad with chicken (not turkey)

Potato steak: get a magic wand then say abra cadabra then tap a potato then Kablamo! a potato steak is made

Green potatoes and ham: use Potato steak and a Special Green potato to make this

Potato chips: say meow 3 times then ay potato then it shall appear before your eyes

Potato ice cream: get a ice cream cone, put ice in the cone then throw 128 potatoes exactly at the ice cream

Potato time machine: you need a potato and a cardboard box that says time machine, put potato on top of time machine box
       
well thats only a few recipes for potatoes there are many, many more
