I think (but i'm not certain?) that both youtube and steam profiles can be hidden by admins if non-family-friendly things are on it. I'm not sure if this is something that happened (I don't believe mine shows up either for this reason). But this is done so that players can't find non-family-friendly content BECAUSE of us. That way if a parent is wondering why their young child is looking at a page with gory/rude games or videos, they can't say "someone on famcraft showed it to me" even if you never directly sent them there, or advertised it.
