Magic Chickens??????

Hi I was playing famcraft and I have a chicken farm by my house. I went on the next day and found I had 2 chickens missing. I went into my house to get some seeds and came out to find the chickens were back with 2 more chickens.

Is this ment to happen???

This may be caused by the fact that chickens tend to look like they are glitching through floors or walls. A few of the chickens could have seemingly disappeared by glitching into the floor or walls and then slingshotted back during the time when you weren't looking. Thus, it would have looked like there were fewer chickens than before even though the "missing" chickens were just glitching into the floor or walls such that you couldn't see them.
