This happens a LOT when I try to go on the survival server. Restarting the game fixes it, but does anyone know why/how it happens? o:

It's because when you reboot your game from FTB to normal vanilla it's still loading the account.... (Happens to me too) Try creating a new profile on the launcher and name it something similar ot "not FTB"? (I have it like that,  works most of the time)

No clue how it happens, it also occurs to me a lot. It usually only happens to me when I mess around with my settings ingame, then try to join a server.

If you dont close your launcher after having it open for a while when your MC isnt open, it happens.  It has happened to me.  SO after playing, close your launcher and then when you play again, open your launcher up and click play then go on the server. It works.
