can't do anything, have no idea why.

I am unable to do anything on famcraft because my keyboard is messing up. It started doing this thing where I can't type anything or even use my keyboard. When I try to use a button on my keyboard, all I hear is a *tick* noise. I have no idea what caused this and I have no idea how to stop it from happening. If you have any suggestions as to how to fix it, please tell me. Thanks. Also, I owe LightBulbasaur 40k for doing something for me and I done want to not pay him.

Might you have spilled water (or any liquid) on it? Put it in a bag of rice (if you have that much xD) or just put it on a tray and poor rice all over (make sure it covers every part of the keyboard) and leave it there for a day or 2.

What kind of Keyboard Mechanical, gaming roll-up, egronomic? depends. The "Tick: noise is that the sound it normaly makes?

 A tick noise from the pc and not from the keyboard? Windows? Try this- press shift 5 times to turn off sticky keys. Hopefully, that's all it is. This has happened to me before too.

The keyboard is connected to my laptop, I didn't spill any kind of liquid on it, I've had sticky keys off since before I joined famcraft.
My engineer - father also had no idea what was wrong with it. The Internet also didn't help. All I know is that some of the special keys (ctrl, vol up/down, brightness up/down) work, but they do what they do slower and with more noise. No other key works. Thanks for the suggestions though.

 Can you boot into safe mode and does the keyboard work there? Do you know how to access the on-screen keyboard you can use with your mouse?

My computer doesn't have the on-screen keyboard thing, but my keyboard works fine when I type in my password, but nowhere else.

 Is it a windows pc? They usually have an onscreen keyboard hidden somewhere in the accessibility settings

 So for Windows 7 for example-

 Click start

 Type "access"

 Go to the "Ease of access Center"

 Click "Start On-Screen Keyboard"

 The reason I suggest this is because it might help you hunt and click around to look for issues.

Look at its properties use large icons at the control panel and go to keyboard then look at its properties and look from there

I don't know if this would work but u are able to type your password, correct? What if u typed in your password as "access", copied it, then log in with your real pass, then do everything Anna said (some serious run on sentencing goin on right dere...).

The amount of happy I am right now is measurable. I have no idea which one of your suggestions worked (cause I tried them all many times), but my keyboard works now. Like I said, I have no idea how it happened, but it happened so I won't question it. Thank you guys so much for the help. There is no word that can describe how grateful I am. You guys are the best.
