Does this mean we can earn/trade the extra job(s)?

Now, before you accuse of us being money grubbing capitalists or blatantly trying to give advantage to people with money, please remember several critical points about the system we have set up:

• First, we are here to have fun. This is not a grand competition. Everyone has fun in their own way.
• Second, receiving super picks, swords, and armor still forces players to mine, hunt, and defend themselves if they want to accumulate materials for building or selling. A super pick, while it lasts longer, still requires the owner to spend hours and hours breaking blocks to accumulate materials.
• Third, we will be hosting games and other mini competitions in which the winners (without the assistance of any previously gotten donation gifts) will be rewarded with items identical to or similar to donation gifts.
• Fourth, donations do not protect you from being muted, kicked, temp banned, or banned for violating the rules. Specifically, using any donation gifts to bully or harass other players will get you banned as quickly as if you had made no donations.
• Fifth, donation gifts may be freely sold or traded for ingame money or items.
• Sixth, donating will not buy staff rank.

I would be willing to buy some/all of a players job xp or levels.  For miner in particular.

If you want my opinion on the subject of transferring job levels, do it by xp if you can, transferring the levels directly would really mess up the xp curve that makes it take more xp to level up at higher levels.

Are there going to be any donation options for the feed the beast server?

Yes, but we don't feel comfortable offering anything until the server is a little more stable, especially in the area of property protection. While you're free to donate money at any time, we don't have any rewards lined up for FTB yet. That being said, if you donate now, we'll keep track of your donation and present you with options in the future when we develop a list of potential donation rewards for FTB. If we gave away stuff today, it might be griefed and stolen tomorrow
