This ban has been lifted.
He's been playing enough of the PC version to know the commands. If we see further issues from bubbahunter, the punishment will not be this light.

"gamemode 1" is a command to put yourself into creative in multiplayer.
This "trick" of joining a server, and pretending you are have changed your game mode, or are in creative has been around a long time, and used by players trying to get staff to adjust their gamemode, putting them into creative.
We have had this technique used countless times over the last few years of running this server. I'm sure that it may work other places, but it does not work here. This happens a few times a month, and bubbahunter10 joining at the exact time as another player attempting to do the same thing I believe is more than a coincidence.

Hello,
I was the admin that banned bubbahunter10. Bubbahunter10 joined the server at the same time as another player that was pretending to be in creative and flying around. The other player was banned as well.
(bubbahunter10) gamemode 1
This, combined with the joining with another person claiming to be in creative at the same time is not a coincidence, and we do not have time to waste on players that join the server just to try an troll the players.

Jacketsniffer,
This will be the absolute last chance that creamofwheat has. If they get banned again for griefing, they will NOT be allowed back. To express to you how serious we are about this, the ban will continue for another 4 days. This means that creamofwheat will be allowed back on the evening of the 8th.
I would highly recommend that creamofwheat build their own farms if they can not follow the rules of the free farms.

Creamofwheat29 was banned for not replanting cocoa beans at profarms.
This is the fifth time creamofwheat has been banned for not re-planting at profarms. We can not make this any more clear that it will not be tolerated. It takes up staff time, the time of the player that replants, and your time.
If we do decide to let creamofwheat back, it would be a good idea for them to create their own farms so they do not continually grief the public farm.
We will await a further response in this plea, but please note, that if they are unbanned, it will likely be an extended temporary ban (likely a week), instead of an outright pardon.

You've been banned 3 times in 4 days. This last ban was for advertising less than 5 minutes after a discussion about not doing exactly what you did.

We've done extensive testing with creative in regions, in separate worlds, separate inventoried worlds, with different inventory management plugins, different multi-world/verse plugins, and there is always, *always* a way to cheat the system, therefor we will not be implementing any form of creative on the survival server.

Hello Lord_Puggy. Thank you for taking the time to post this today. There's a few things we'd like to clear up before we consider this plea. A worthwhile ban plea should include the following:
-An apology stating what you did wrong and how you will fix it
I see in your plea an admission of guilt for generally doing something wrong, but not exactly what you did, how you would work towards resolving the cause of the ban, or even an apology. I would expect better from a banned staff member, as staff are held to the same, and even higher standards for following the rules and procedures than players. You've been on Famcraft long enough to know what a good plea looks like, and what a generic plea looks like. Being staff at the time of your ban, you should know what to expect in a plea. For this matter, a simple "I know what I did was wrong, can I come back" simply will not be accepted, and serves as an example of how little thought was put into this plea. Admission of exactly what you did, how you would resolve it, and most importantly, an apology to the players involved would be the only type of plea we would even consider in this case. -The Admin Team

You were tempbanned 3 days for breaking glass in an area that did not belong to you. You could have simply waited out the ban, and you would have been welcomed back to the server just fine.
Here is the reason why you are now perm-banned:
"<FREAKINMADMAN> I HATE THIS SERVER"
If you hate the server enough to come to IRC and spew obscenities to portray your hatred over a simple 3 day ban, you simply won't be welcomed back.
