We get a lot of questions about CoinShop. CoinShop was formerly known as the DonorShop. In the distant past it was available as a reward for a donation of $20 USD or more. This is NO LONGER the case, and CoinShop IS NOT available as a donation reward as we make every effort to be EULA compliant. However, if you did receive access to /warp donate for donations in the past, you DO have access to /warp coinshop. They are one in the same. Coinshop allows us to offer everything we have offered as donator rewards in the past for in-game currency called Famcoins. These items can no longer be obtained through donations. Famcoins can not be obtained through donations and they can not be purchased. Famcoins can only be obtained through gameplay on Famcraft. You can collect Famcoins with /kit allowance, by selling items in chestshops or in chat, and by working the jobs as explained at /warp jobs. Access to /warp coinshop is available for a cost of 1,000,000 Famcoins in game. Once you have 1,000,000 coins, you can contact an admin to request CoinShop access. If no admin is in game, you can use /admin or visit /warp admin to make a request and we will get you set up as soon as possible. Once you purchase CoinShop access, your name will appear in (brackets) to denote that you have CoinShop access which entitles you to other benefits such as free World Edit structure relocation, and free World Edit land clearing down to sea-level. IF you have donated in the past and have a dark green name, you will NOT have (brackets) around your name. If you have (brackets) and donate at a later time, the (brackets) will be removed and you will have a dark green name instead but you will retain CoinShop access. CoinShop offers an assortment of interesting things. Some example include: - 5 extra homes with the /sethome command - 3,000,000 Famcoins- DeathChest - 10,000,000 Famcoins DeathChest Info: http://u.famcraft.com/8i- CoinMove Perm Pack - 5,000,000 FamcoinsIncludes /b , /up, /jump * /b is like /back- but you don't have to die first to use it * /up allows you to specify a number of blocks to move up, then puts you on a glass block at that Y level * /jump lets you look at an area and /jump to move there, similar to enderpearls - CoinCraft Perm Pack - 5,000,000 FamcoinsIncludes /echest, /craft, /stack * /echest is access to your EnderChest via command * /craft is access to a full crafting grid via command * /stack allows you to hold any item and /stack to 64 (even things that do not usually stack) - Fly - 100,000,000 Famcoins (yes, it is intentionally expensive) - Access to request an admin to spawn mobs for you for a fee - Access to request an admin to clear land for you, down to sea-level, at no charge - Access to request structure relocation of a structure you created or purchased, at no charge. The CoinShop also sells several common items such as enchanted items (only survival obtainable enchants), golden notch apples, dyes, decorative skull blocks, basic white alphabet banners and a few other common items. The prices are HIGH as the CoinShop is NOT intended to interfere with the player market. The items in the CoinShop are not intended to be particularly affordable, just convenient and in stock. There are also some resources such as an enchanting table, a /heal button, a sheep farm (/warp sheep is better!) a small iron golem spawner, and another small xp spawer. These are not amazing resources, just something to help fill the space and offer a little extra benefit to the area.

My child has a disability- what should I expect from their time on Famcraft? You should expect your child to be treated exactly the same as every other player on Famcraft. We expect players of all ages and all ability ranges to know and follow the rules. We expect all players to remain respectful of one another and of the staff team. Over the years we have had players with a wide range of disabilities from physical disabilities to learning disabilities. We have many players who deal with add, adhd, ocd or who are on the spectrum. We've had players who were deaf and players who are partially sighted. We've also had players who have been coping with long-term or chronic illness. Most of these player have done great here! To put it simply- we expect everyone to follow the rules and have a good time. All players regardless of disability or illness are treated the same. We do not exclude these players from any of the fun stuff, but we also do not exclude them from any of the rules. If you feel your child may struggle with the rules or experience behavior issues other difficulties while playing on Famcraft, then you will want to make sure you are available to assist them. Famcraft is a public server. It is always free to play on Famcraft. We have an all volunteer staff team here to keep players safe. All players are expected to follow the rules at all times, with no exceptions. Just as you would not drop off your child in any other public place and leave them unattended, you will want to remain available to assist your child throughout their playtime on Famcraft. If a player of any age or ability breaks the rules or causes issues on the server, disciplinary action may be taken. The disciplinary actions we use include: mute - Temporarily removing the player's ability to type in chat. This is often used if a player is using unkind words to other players or staff, if a player is spamming chat, or if a player's chat is being overall negative. If a player swears- we do not mute them, we ban them. kick - A brief kick from the server. the player can log back in immediately. This is most often used to get a player's attention when they will not acknowledged a staff-correction. tempban A temp ban is a temporary ban that prevents a player from joining the server for a number of days. A typical tempban is 1-7 days but they can be shorter or longer. A tempban is usually used for smaller offences like repeatedly failing to replant the public farms. If a player has already been tempbanned for something, it's likely the next ban will be permanent. ban A ban means the player will no longer be allowed to play on Famcraft. This is most often used when a player has been very disrespectful of the rules and/or other players. We permban for things such as swearing, intentional griefing or repeatedly breaking the same rules. ** We DO NOT use a warning system. The warning is the fact that there are rules stating what is not allowed when you join this server. If a player breaks the rules, then disciplinary action may be taken at the discretion of the available FamStaff team member. We have had some parents tell us that their child becomes easily upset by corrections. If this is the case, perhaps going over the types of disciplinary actions we use and the reasons these actions might be taken will help your child be more prepared and less upset in the event they are corrected. Most issues can be avoided by knowing the rules and being respectful of others. If you feel confident you or your child may become overly upset if your child is corrected, then they might not be quite ready for Famcraft. Dear Parent,
I am so very sorry to be the one to have to break this to you.
Your child is dear, sweet, kind, talented, creative and unique, yes, beyond a doubt- but... they are not perfect. They are human. They can, and will make mistakes. Some you see, some you may never know about, but they will mess up.
This doesn't mean they've failed as a child. It doesn't mean you've failed as a parent. It does mean they are living, and growing and learning. Learning from our mistakes is an important part of life.
Accountability is an important part of life.
If your child is corrected or receives other disciplinary action on this server, you can rest assured it was needed.
We are busy people. We do not stop what we are doing to correct a player for no reason. If your child was corrected then they were breaking the rules or misbehaving in some way.
When we correct a player, it is to give them and/or their parent an opportunity to review the behavior that lead up to the correction or punishment, and give them a chance to learn how to avoid a correction or punishment for the same thing in the future.
For the child OR the parent- becoming argumentative, rule lawyering, using the player's age as an excuse, or resorting to calling the staff mean names is not the proper way to handle a correction. Instead, take the opportunity to learn what caused the issue, and prevent it in the future.
In short, no, your kid isn't perfect. They're pretty great- but expecting them to be perfect will only lead to disappointment for you and your child alike.
If you have an issue with your child being corrected if they misbehave then this might not be the server for you. We enforce the rules among all players, regardless of their age or level of perfection. Thank you for understanding.

It's time for a NEW Famcraft Family photo! If you are not sure what I mean, I am referring to the image at the top right of your Famcraft screen. This is a custom made image we do about once a year. How? It's easy! Just add your name to this list!  When? When this list is long enough to justify all the work it takes to make a new Family photo!  We'd like to have quite a few names before we get started. The list will probably sit here for quite a few weeks before we begin working on the new picture. To be very clear, you do not have to be in game, this is not a screen shot. We use a Minecraft skin viewer to collect and assemble the images into a nice big picture. All you have to do is add your name to this list. Please make sure you use the exact caps and or numbers in your name. No nick-names please, we need your actual user name. Thanks!

We are NOT currently taking suggestions for mini-games or arena types. It is not impossible that the admins may select more games to add at a later date. Right now, we are focused on making sure the games we currently have are all working smoothly. Please feel free to discuss games/game types here.
Reminder: Please remember NOT to mention other server names on the server or forum.
Example- DON'T say things such as "I wish we had the same type of FFA arena that "Random Server" has." Instead, describe or explain the game you are referring to without using any server name.

Famcraft will be five years old on April 29, 2017. Because 5 years is a nice milestone, we wanted to do something extra special for the server this year. We've added a Famcraft Games server which is currently accessible via a StarGate located in front of /warp sg (also at /warp games). This game server includes games like MobArena, BlockHunt, Spleef, PvP Arenas, FFA, CTF and more. The game world also has it's own economy using "Tokens" earned through game play and time spent on the server. When you join the server, you can type /games for a list of games. Then type /games [game type] for a list of arenas for a specified game type. We are currently in the process of doing some live testing. All Famcrafters are welcome to come help test. You can report issues directly to an admin, post here or use the /report command. Thanks, Famcrafters!

As of 11/12/2016 there will be no further scheduled regular updates to the Famcraft website overviewer map located here: http://map.famcraft.com/#/-82470/64/155148/-4/0/0 We will leave the currently map data up for archival purposes. We may occasionally force an update. If the map is unavailable, it is likely it is generating new images. Sadly, even after many, MANY attempts to have this map update on a regular basis, we have come to the conclusion that keeping the map updated simply is not a viable option. As most of you know, the Famcraft survival world maps are unlimited. We all enjoy this feature of Famcraft as it allows us to explore infinitely and make our homes in close knit little neighborhoods or in distant isolated areas depending on out play-style. The only downside to offering our players an umlimited world is.. map size. Our survival server map is well over 195+ GB and growing. As you might imagine, it takes a very long time for the map overviewer to generate a fresh copy of the map for the website. By the time the website has completed it's lengthy and resource intensive update.. the map image is already out of date... again. We know everyone- players and staff alike, enjoys exploring the website map and seeing all the progress as time goes by. We regret that will will not be able to offer future updates to the map. We do hope everyone will still enjoy scrolling through the years of work that are displayed on the maps as they are. If we ever find a more viable option for maintaining a current and updated world map we will make every effort to implement it on the website. Thank you all for understanding. To be very clear- this in NO WAY effects the IN GAME world maps you know and love. My son says this: I`m intentionally sorry, back then when I came on I was still sort of still new to Minecraft. I`ve been doing a survival server without being warned by anyone. I`ve been working hard on being better at following rules in minecraft. it probably been over a year. I think I could get a final chance on my growth on minecraft.

Famcraft is now offering a new EXTREME Wastelands map fully updated and revamped to make it even more challenging and fun!
You can find the new Extreme Wastelands server at /warp sg through the WORLDS gate.
The new Extreme Wastelands features the same poisonous air and eternal rain you know and love but there's so much more!
Now, in addition to struggling for your very survival in the toxic and volatile overworld , you also stand the risk of injury and illness. With diseases rampant in this harsh and unforgiving world, you'll want to make sure you keep plenty of medical supplies stocked up. And if you do happen to die (And you WILL die) then you will spawn a zombie with your name to greet you upon the return to the location of your death using /back. Good luck!
But.. it's not ALL bad. If you can convince at least half of the players to sleep in their bed at night, you can turn it back to daytime. Additionally, scout out the areas around random gates. You'll have a rare chance to find a supply crate with a few random supplies to help you on your journey. Watch out, you may need to block-jump to claim these items.
You'll have access to your daily rations with /kit rations, which will provide a snack and your daily allowance of 1000 coins.
You'll also have the raffle as well as the jobs you are already familiar with from the Main and Classic servers.
Overall, we hope this will be a fun and exciting new survival experience for new and veteran Wastelanders alike.
Please keep in mind, Wastelands is a lot more difficult than regular survival- especially first starting out.
If you give it a shot and it's more frustrating than fun, please return to the Main or Classic survival server and continue with your regularly scheduled programming. Just make sure you keep having fun!

The bad news is... we no longer have Famcraft 1.7  BUT!! The GREAT news is, we now have "Famcraft Classic"!!  What is this "Famcraft Classic"? You ask? Famcraft Classic is our original map- most recently referred to as "Famcraft 1.7" but all freshly upgraded to 1.9, and linked to the main server via a StarGate at /warp classic !!!!  Now, we realize many of you will have a LOT of questions about this, so we will do our best to address your questions and concerns in this post. Don't see your question answered here? Please post it and we will do our best to provide a reply. FamClassic FAQ You updated Famcraft 1.7? I thought you said you were never gonna, ever gonna, never- never do that! I.. did say that. I said that because at the time we were unable to upgrade 1.7 originally, there was a great deal of disruption and drama within the Minecraft community over politics we won't get into here.
But basically, many of the developers of plugins we heavily rely upon said they were no longer going to be moving forward/supporting their plugins. So to us, it very much seemed that updating would never be possible.
Over time, that drama has settled down. Old developers have returned, new devs have picked up old projects, and own own Admins (Thoatt and Kealper!) have learned even more about how to get outdated plugins back into working order. We've come a long way in this last year, and we finally have the ability to update 1.7 with minimal disruption to the server. It means a great deal to us to be able to bring the original map current so it does not get left behind.But.. I LIKED Famcraft Classic being on 1.7.10. I liked having the option of playing that version. I don't want it to be updated. Sadly, we can not make everyone happy all the time. The Famcraft Classic server has been lucky to have 5-6 visitors a month, and those visitors tend to be some of our Famcraft Main regular members and staff.
We don't want to see our original map left behind. We feel that updating to 1.9 was the best choice for the server as a whole, and a nice way to honor the history of Famcraft. We hope you'll grow to love the Famcraft Classic server.Will the Famcraft Classic server continue to be updated alongside the Famcraft Main server? That is the plan. We hope to keep both servers running on the same version of Minecraft. So, is Famcraft Classic on the SAME server as the main Famcraft 1.9 server? Or is it still on completely a different server? Famcraft Classic is still on it's own server. Money, inventories, homes, clans and everything else is 100% separate just as it always has been. No. The only entry point to the Famcraft Classic server will by via StarGate on the Main Famcraft server. There will be a StarGate available at /warp classic Does the Famcraft Classic server have a job level cap now? Yes- jobs are capped at Level 60. Any jobs that were past level 60 have been reverted to level 60. We understand some people will be unhappy with this. I lost levels myself. Sadly, this is a necessary change due to the broken economy and op enchants on the Famcraft Classic server. The clan I had on 1.7 is gone now! Why? At the time we updated 1.7 to 1.9, there were only 7 active clans remaining- BNVS, Cielo, TCoEA, Time, SkMag, Dash and TREES- Sadly, these clans will need to be recreated by their original owners. All of the other clans had auto-disbanded due to clan leader and clan member inactivity. Can I recreate my clan or make a new clan on the Famcraft Classic server? Do I have to be in the same clan on the Classic/Main servers? You can create a new clan or recreate YOUR OWN old clan. Please do not intentionally take someone else's old clan name. If this happens, the new "impostor" clan will be deleted at the admin teams discretion. You do not have to use the same clan name, or be in the same clan on the Classic/Main servers, they are two entirely separate servers.Heellpp!! I can't find my old clan base!!! We do have a list of many of the clan bases that existed in the year prior to us adding the new Famcraft Main server. If you know your clan name, we likely have coordinates and a staff member can probably take you to the clan home location.Oh no! I can't find my home on the Famcraft Classic server! First try - /home , you should see a list of homes. Please visit these locations to see if you can find your home. Next, try /ps location - this will give you the coordinates of any and all precious stones you have placed. IF you have to ask staff for help, please have as much info as possible about the home you are looking for, including what biome it is in, what materials it is made from, and the player names of any neighbors or roommates as we will need this information to attempt to find your home. We can not ALWAYS find lost homes, especially not on a server that has been collecting dust for a year- but we can try.Will the empty mall shops on the Famcraft Classic server be put up for auction? Yes! Hopefully Soon. We just want to give it a little time to make sure the Famcraft Classic server will be running smoothly before we do too much.Can I still buy Fly on Famcraft Classic with the money I have on Famcraft Classic? No- not currently. With the broken economy and op enchants on the Famcraft Classic server, we feel Fly might be too easy to obtain, after the update. If we see that this is not the case, we may reverse this.Does this mean there is no way to ever have /fly on the Famcraft Classic server? Nope! You CAN obtain /fly on the Famcraft Classic server, but for now, you'll need to purchase it with funds from the Famcraft MAIN server. If I buy other permission packs or CoinShop access will they apply to Famcraft Classic AND Famcraft Main? Yes, all perm packs bought on either server will apply to both servers. This means if you buy Fly on the Famcraft Main server, you will have /fly on the Famcraft Main server and the Famcraft Classic server. I am missing a nick name or permission on Famcraft Classic that I recently obtained on the Famcraft Main server. Can I get it back? Absolutely! Ideally, all your nick names and permission sets are supposed to match. If you are missing a name, a permission or coinshop access that you have purchased, just let us know and we will get you fixed right up.Can I have two different nicknames on Famcraft Classic and Famcraft Main? No. Name changes alone have caused enough confusion. We need to make sure everyone has the same name on both servers.I can't spawn dragons on the FamClassic server? Yes you can. You just need to use the end called "Dragon End" on the "World" gate at /warp sg. It is set up just like the Dragon End on the main server. One more time, are you suuurree I can't move my inventory/homes/structures/jobs/job-levels/money between servers? I am 100% SURE I will ONLY be playing on ONE of the servers. Pleeeasssee!!?? No. It's that simple. We will not be moving ANYTHING from one server to the other. Thank you for understanding.Having both servers on the same version is confusing and I don't like it- what can I do? This change only has to effect you as much as you want it to effect you. You are not obligated to play on both servers. If you are enjoying your time on Famcraft, that's all that
