I've put this awesome Mountain Pass Castle up for auction!   It's a 4-floor Mountain Pass Castle, which was built to protect and control the surrounding countryside by strategically blocking this little valley. It's right on the border of an extreme hills/desert biome, and sits next to the river that divides the territories.

It is approximately 50x25 blocks in size, and has inside:

* Gated Entrances on the North and South sides of the valley
* Staff Quarters, Dining & Kitchen areas on the ground floor
* Central fireplace, heating all floors from ground to ceiling
* Entrance Hall for guests
* Guest Dining on the 2nd Floor
* Workrooms & Guest Rooms on the 2nd Floor
* Royal Apartments on the 3rd Floor
* Double Height, Royal Throne Room on the 3rd Floor (with quick escape)
* Open Rooftop for additional working, smithing, and brewing space
* Private Mine Entrance - with unexplored mine and ravine access
* Outdoor Garden to provide food for the royal family & staff
* Rooms are largely unfurnished, so you can add your own personal touch to the inside!

Hi!  It's time for a NEW forum Alphabet game.

In this one, you have to create a new word by changing the least number of letters from the previous word, in order to create a new word.  Words must be at least 3 characters long.  You may add or subtract letters to complete your new word, or change their order... but remember to make as few changes as possible in letters to find the new word!

Example:

Hare
Dare
Ware
Wear

... etc...

Hey Everyone! 

I have noticed that as new players come on the server, one of the coolest things that they want to be able to build (and one of the hardest to accomplish) is a working mob farm (either grinder or xp versions). 

SO...If you've built a cool one here on Famcraft... tell us your best tips for creating them, making them work, and making them look unique!  Screenshots of your own project earn bonus points!

p.s. - Yes, I know there are YouTube videos, but I'm looking for special insight from Famcrafters here about where to build, how to get mobs to actually spawn, how to collect stuff from them, or whatever you feel you can contribute to the knowledge of others.   

p.s. again - I am talking about natural mob farms, not purchased spawners.  So please don't remind us that we can pay $500k for a spawner.  That's a lot of Famcoins for a new player. 

What is a Poppy Sorter?   Why would someone build one?

I saw this term in one of the ~Sell Your Item~ threads and am looking for what it actually is.
