The Melon clan exists on the 1.8 server. The clan base so far is a mushroom island that borders with a forest that has 3 signs and some torches put around. I am planning to build an auto storage system for the clan down the road, otherwise this clan will run under a system where any member can propose a build to the leadership (right now just me) and if approved, may add that building to the clan home. The idea is for the members of the clan to have more input into the construction of the clan base and the way the land is used. If you wish to join Melon on the 1.8 server, let eGI know in game when you see him.

Spots, as of right now, I have not been able to figure out how to make a good Canadian flag, although I have challenged a friend to see if he can pull it off, and if he does, I'll start selling them.
Pixel, if by inverted you mean have 2 creeper faces on the banner, that's not possible, there can only be a single creeper face on the banner always oriented right side up.

So, I may or may not have fallen in love with making banners, so I am starting to sell them. I have some already in Ghouls shop in the 1.8 main mall (lime green section), and will eventually have my own shop that sells just banners. In the meantime here are some of the banners I have made, and I do custom ones as well (sometimes you have to wait for me to collect up the dyes, and know that if I like it, I'll make a 2nd copy of it to sell later).
Right now I have banners priced at 2K each, but that is subject to change and be lowered if I feel a need because of price, or raised as the economy on the server takes off and prices jump (hopefully they stay low).

Just a small proposal based on the comments I've read so far.
You might want to consider changing it to a 3v3 and just let people form their teams and change the price down to 50K.
This makes the price more reasonable, and for every 2 teams you get the 100K you wanted from 1 team when it would be 5v5.

I have no idea where a number for a limit ever came in, as I never made a limit on the number of pictures that could be submitted. It would have been a bit crazy for someone to put in 100, but completely within the rules.
That said, I'll get to looking at the pictures in the next couple of days and announce a winner. Lots of good screenshots to pick between.

Only if you are walking 20 steps, taking a picture, turning right, walking 20 steps, taking a picture, etc. Seriously though, it would be great if we filled this forum topic up with screen shots of naturally occurring terrain, plus if someone randomly stumbled on it, they might think we were a bit crazy for posting all these terrain pictures about, since as you know eGI is by far the most sane person that has ever played the server... or so eGI told me.

So, today, August 1st is the greatest day in the Famcraft calender other than the Famiversary, it is the birthday of the greatest eGI to ever play on the server. Its so great of a day, that I have decided it needs a special competition to celebrate.
In Minecraft, I love exploring and discovering really cool looking bits of terrain that are naturally generated (not chunk errors that make 1 chunk wide deserts in the middle of a forest). So with that in mind, to enter this contest all you have to do is explore the Famcraft Vanilla server, and take a screen shot of something really cool that is naturally generated in the game and post it in this thread. After one week (August 1st through August 8th), I will look at the submissions and pick one to win a special prize. Do not ask what the prize is because my lips are sealed until after the competition ends, but I can say it is a really cool prize.
For those who don't like reading lots:

Take a screen shot of something cool naturally generated on the Famcraft vanilla server and post it in this thread.
eGI will pick 1 winner to win something really cool.
