So, for the past two weeks or so, Chris and I have been working on perfecting our new base on FTB while vespa (Matthew) was away. He was always in charge of our nuclear reactor that we use while eating up lots of extra power (molecular transformer, lava fabricators, etc.). He recently added a multitude extra uranium cells and fans into the reactor (just 2 days ago I believe) and he PROMISED me it was safe. I'd figured it'd be fine at our base as well because explosions are disabled after all. Just last night, I was working downstairs when my ME wireless terminal suddenly lost signal so I went upstairs to investigate. What I found was a rather massive crater encompassing absolutely everything that we owned including ME autocrafting setups, many fairly expensive machines, and nearly 2/3 of the house Chris spent many hours on.
If possible, we'd like to get some sort of a rollback on the area; it was a total accident and I questioned Matthew multiple times very seriously and he insisted that it was completely safe and with explosions disabled anyway, I didn't expect any harm; turns out I was wrong. If there's anything you might be able to do to help us out Micah, it would be VERY appreciated, and we'll certainly address the reactor setup once we get setup again.

Well, ICANN has decided to take over www.famcrafters.com asking for 'domain verification' in order to continue supporting the site. Just thought I'd throw that out there...

Hey everyone! So one day, Stitch was bored and they decided to take every single item in game (as of 1.7.2) and put em on a list. They made categories, and put each and every item into a reasonable category to help with sorting systems! Of course, I can't dictate how many chests should be dedicated to one item, but I feel I've done the busy work Here's the list for everyone to enjoy who needs a decent categorization system for their masses of chests! (Btw, this was made in OneNote, not really 'list' friendly) Also, you may or may not agree with my choices here, this is to everyone's personal preference; I grouped items how I felt they fit. I also separated some related items into sub categories (ex: building blocks and slabs and stairs; I did so as sandstone is labeled as a 'stone' item but the slabs and stairs are not natural, therefor I placed them into the slabs category; this is only for the sake of separation on a list, your real storage room may group these items together, again, depending on preference) If any of you guys find this useful for your own places, I would like to hear about it! Maybe even paste some screenshots of your own storage room for all to see! Ok guys, this is a REALLY serious issue for ANYONE using Windows XP of any version on any computer. In early 2009, Microsoft stopped releasing security updates for the OS, making XP rather unsafe as you do not always have the best virus/malware/etc protection, even WITH antivirus or related software. In the upcoming weeks (April 8th!), Windows XP will be COMPLETELY UNSUPPORTED by Microsoft in any way! Going onto a simple webpage will instantly expose you to any web-based threat, including pop-ups, malwave, viruses, and information theft (credit card numbers, home addresses, etc!). Hackers will have EASY ACCESS into anything they want on your computer or in information you send over the internet!I know many of you cannot afford to or don't want to upgrade to a new OS, but this is a serious issue! If you can afford it, a fresh single-use copy of Windows 7 goes for around $100 or buy yourself the new Windows 8.1 for around $130 from across the web (just make sure they're a Microsoft Certified Reseller; a pirated copy gonna put you in the same dangerous situation! ) If you can't afford Windows at all, even Ubuntu or Linux Mint are viable options. Of course, if your PC is over 4 years old, a completely new system is also an option. Please take this into consideration! I'm looking out for you guys! PLEASE READ: Edit from Thoatt: This information is largely incorrect. Microsoft is still releasing security updates for Windows XP up until April 8th, 2014. After that, they will STILL be releasing antimalware signature updates(for a limited time). As with any software, is it not viable for a company to support it forever. Windows XP is 12 years old now, and while many people still prefer it, it's getting old, and at a certain point, they will have to make the decision to stay with old, outdated software, or get something that is still supported. If you have an antivirus that is not Microsoft Security Essentials, you will more than likely still get virus definition updates, and updates for your antivirus. As with ALL versions of windows and linux, you need to be diligent about your personal information and where you put it. Simply going to any web page does not "open you up to any web based threat", though. If you are concerned with security: Protect yourself. Get antivirus and anti-malware and keep it updated. Be diligent about using https versions of websites. Don't go to bank links, etc, in emails. Type the address in your browser manually, etc. There are many ways to keep you safe (Updating to a newer OS is one of them though). end of edit.

SURVEY ENDED ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, when my school assignment asked me to survey 20 people, I was at a bit of a road block, given that I'm homeschooled I decided this would be the best place to get the stats I need for the assessment. The survey is for Biology, tracing how traits and genes are passed from parents to their children. There are just a few basic questions to ask regarding how you look, but if you feel any of these are too personal, feel free to skip the post, however I do need FULL answers for people that do participate. The information I need to know is... 1. Earlobes - Are the bottom parts of your ear attached to your side or are the free? 2. Knuckle Hair - Is there any hair on your index fingers below the knuckles? 3. Hair Line - If you pull back your hair, is the line straight or is there a 'Widow's Peak' (a point) in your hair line at the edge of your forehead? 4. Hair Texture/Pattern - Is your hair mainly straight or is it curly/wavy/'messy'? 5. Chin Shape - Do you have a smooth, rounded chin or a cleft (notched) chin? Thanks so much for your help guys! - Stitch OFFICIAL TALLY - 15 of 15 needed (12:49p 11/2) Ghouls, Thoatt, Anna, Chris, Luke, Greban, Kealper, Gedude, Vespa, Rundrop, Camel, Yoshi, Bret, Epic, Gaz
