Maybe, I shouldn't have settled so close to the Random 2 gate, especially when I wanted to build more then just a small starter home. I ran till I found a nice area without other buildings in sight. I wasn't aware that I was still rather close (about 250 blocks) to the gate.
Now, I protected most of the area, and put additional fences and signs to mark the rest as my area. But still, it seems like people don't care about it. Are there so many new players playing before they read the rules, or how can that happen?
If you are building near a random stargate, you should NOT expect to be free from griefing. The whole purpose of precious stones is to prevent it. Without them, you should have no expectation that your stuff will be safe. That is not to say that it won't be restored, but you are on a public server, with dozens of new people every day, and we do not have the staff to stalk every players every action. Signs and torches on a large area is NOT a replacement for precious stones, and although griefing other player's things is against the rules, there are many players who play on, or come from other servers where this may be seen as public area, and not claimed. Use precious stones or don't expect to be grief free.

I was going to move more chests with IluvChikinz but when I tried to unlock the chests I got an error message "you do not own there chest" when I know I placed them because I am the only one allowed there if the problem I the name change can that be fixed please
Please post coords. We can't do anything without knowing where they are.

When I first heard about this mod, I thought that it changed the way that physics in the game work, and I let Anna know that it would not work. There are forge mods that do that, but they also require forge to be enabled on the server.
When I further look into this mod, it looks like it just changes the way the items are rendered on the client. So this mod should work fine, and it would be allowed on Famcraft, as it does not give an advantage to the player.

The IRC network that we use has many servers all connected to each other. When the server you are on disconnects from the server that other people are on, it "netsplits", and the other person "disconnects" with a *.net, *.split message. When the network re-connects, they will "reconnect" to the channel. The other person will see it as you who disconnects from their channel.

Bubba19827 picked up a pick that did not belong to them. They were asked to return it, which they refused to. A Sr Mod stepped in (MissGhouls), and asked again for them to return the item to the player. After quite a bit of arguing, Bubba19827 finally put the item into a chest to return it to another player.
The reason they were banned was: After they returned the pick, They were continuing to ask for it back, and say that they don't know whose it was (claiming that it might have been their sisters), but they were asked by two different staff members several different times to return the item, with the owner in the channel asking for the item back as well.
The ignored staff member's requests - They were asked eight separate times to return the item, and they refused until MissGhouls threatened to ban them. Once they gave the item back, they said this:
<FamCraftIRC> (Bubba1982) im never EVER playing this ''famcraft'' again unless i get MY pickaxe back!!!
This continued on for some time, with MissGhouls explaining that they needed to read the rules, and not steal from players, at that point they replied with:
<FamCraftIRC> (Bubba1982) #i dont like miss ghouls
Frankly, we don't much care for drama here, and from the start of bubba playing here - from swearing, to spamming, stealing, and finally being mean and disrespectful to our staff members - They will not be allowed to return to the server.

If you log into irc and join the channel, and THEN verify, you may need to /hop or /cycle to leave/rejoin the channel.

We will not be doing this. We are doing the classic skyblock.
You can always build your own skyblock in the normal world, with whatever supplies you want, but the one that we are hosting is the classic one, without extra blocks and supplies.
