It says I'm temporarily banned from the server for one day, no one even said anything to me. What did I do?  :-\

It was a minor grief, so it was just a day. And this belongs in the ban appeal section :]
You can request for an admin to unban you earlier.

Tempbans wear off automatically after the time has expired, which in this case was 1 day I believe?

Yes it's one day, I'm just shocked I guess because I don't even remember doing anything and I know I would never grief someone for no reason.
