Hello everyone this is zOracle the leader of Royals Clan, as the leader i am trying to make the clan both private for members (access to Spawners) as well as a community type clan with adventure maps etc. for the first installment i am thinking of an amazing Hunger Games Map that anyone can play for absolutely free hosted by myself, for me to make this work i need the help from you the community as after all i am building it for your use so i really want to make it special for you Guys & Gals; so please answer the poll and feel free to post additional ideas in the comments section. i will be checking this daily so all replies will be viewed and taken into account, on a side note i would like to add this will not be the only map i make there will be others including stylish pvp arenas, Parkour maps as well as quest maps where you do a type of sign hunt so please stayed tuned and post additional ideas.

This sounds good you should do a wild west kinda map where there is a inn and jail and such just a idea :P

ok also i didnt rad any comments or anything i only voted so sorry if i repeat something but i think it would be cool if it was like real hg, no chests everywhere, the weapons are the same things ect. Like we could get someone who has access to flying and every once in a while the send down food ect to random players like parachutes and also you could make a texture pack for people to download turning eggs aand snowballs into spears and throwing knives and it would all be iron weapons or someything like that

I agree with Cleo, when I play Hunger Games, I like to play like that. Start off with nothing. But if we stick to the survival aspect, I like to play with nothing like your playing in a survival world. You have to punch trees and get resources and that stuff. That would be cool.

Thank you so much for all your replies, it helps me so much, I too would very much like the survival experience but the problem i have with letting people break trees etc to gain resources is that there would be no pvp as everyone would be mining for diamonds and i would have to reset the stadium after every game as eventually there would be no resources

Another idea is let everyone choose their district, so d1,2 and 4 are careers so they team up, and they start of in a better area eg in front f where the best weapons are. and other districts could team up with their district parteners

Cleo, it would be overpowered to do that. I think we should just have it like a normal survival games, but where you can break blocks, collect resources, etc. it should have the same chance to get a weapon, armor, or food. It wouldn't be fun if one person got like an iron sword off the cornocopia because they are in the career tribute area, and everyone else gets like a leather tunic :-\

just thought id post this to clear a few things,
1. i will not be able to make this arena breakable at this time as id have to replace all the blocks after the game as well as there being no action due to players going mining
2. you can team if you want but as shown in the movies only ONE person can win
3. there will be more than one arena i may be able to make a quick arena where you can break etc
4. the districts idea is fun in some instances as i can do a team game with a district score board where you earn points for your district and the winning district over a period of time gets a prize.
5. it will be hard to police the arena as players in theory can sneak in equipment so i will number the gear

I think we should make it so that a clan can volunteer to be in the games, and 2 people from that clan will go into the games (if they want to, of course) and should be teamed up, just like in the books/movies so everyone can have 1 teammate so it will be fair.

also, you can have some secret sniping spots or hiding places thats really hard to find but is worth it.

is it hard to reset the map? with world edit, right?

The clan team thing is a good idea however we must make sure everyone has a partner, and like i said there will eventually be a lot of different maps so a 2v2v2 could be added as well as a lot bigger teams, i could create a dispenser that ejects peoples heads as a kind of team selection process if needed

There's just 1 problemo some people in the same clan can't hit eachother so clan FF has to be allowed in the clans playing just to point out from pas experiences in the FFA.

most people have their clan ff enabled anyway apart from a small few who want to be annoying in FFA, An im loving the completely irrelevant picture you posted :P

I think small maps for the ppl who get out first and want to play again dont have to wait as long to play again

Thank you again for all your amazing feedback it really helps me find the motivation for builds like this, please feel free to keep posting and make sure you have also completed the poll at the top of the page, like i have said numerous times i will have a Sg system dedicated completely to these Community games so there will be a lot of maps eventually.
Also note that not all these games will be Hunger games there will be parkour and some very interesting Adventure maps; an example of some of these is a treasure hunt map Under Water where there will be different oxygen reserves hidden in the dimly lit underwater deathtrap, another is a Sign hunt in the Haunted forest where the ghost hunts you and may fire upon you with his bow.
Any other ideas on maps such as these please feel free to comment, Also i would like to add that YES some of these games are based on other games that already exist; just remember these "Games" you may of played arnt all appropriate on a family friendly server so do NOT mention their names or discuss them in detail, just leave the idea and ill understand :D

About the whole clan thing, some peoples clan do not have many users online at a time like mine, its kinda rare to see other peeps from my clan. it would be easy for Cielo ect but smaller ones would not really have many people

i think the idea of clans was not to make it so that clan members can work together as like you say bigger clans like Cielo, Royals and fires that have a high number of members as well as a high number of members as i myself know that i both Royals and Cielo have quite a few members on; however dont let this deter you as i will come up for a way to make this fair on everyone :D any questions feel free to ask me
