Title: Photography
Post by: Domsters931 on June 14, 2014, 07:10:51 PM
I'm really into taking pictures of nature or just things that catch my eye. This is a place where u can share some of your favorite photos u have taken. (Minecraft or real life). Please follow all famcraft rules and think if u want other people to see that picture. If you're not sure make sure. Have fun!

This is a bridge at St. Mary of the Wood's College where Jim and I thought about getting married. (It's a famous Monastery/College where my Aunt was a really influential nun)

This is the bridge you have to cross to get to my house. It was so foggy it reminded me of a horror movie >:D

(Ignore the Time Stamp, the camera was wrong) These were from a year ago, of my front yard during Autumn :D

Here's a picture I got of a wasp up close with my Cannon SLR. It may be lower res because I had to screenshot it to transfer it to my phone from my email (download wouldn't work) but hopefully it's still quality.

This is a cool example of a close shot. NOOBRecons picture also shows a form of that kind of photography.

I really like the vista one of the Grand Canyon you did!

I tried my hand at a bit of touch-up to it with some more color, some contrast in the clouds to make them stand out more, and a bit of sharpening  :o

I recently went to some ice caves that were amazing. I'll post some pictures. They were the apostle island sea caves to be exact. On the day I went they had about 4000 people there. There wasn't much parking so we had to walk a mile from our car to get to the sea caves. Then when we finally made it to the lake we had to walk a mile and a quarter. Then back. It was worth it! :D

Where are those ice caves? I know There is some on the Wisconsin coast of Lake Superior, and are very popular.  Well last year they were at least.  I've been in those kayaking once.

Yep, that's the ones I went too. I live in Northern Minnesota so it's only just over a 2 hour drive to get there.

This was done using a Nikon Coolpix L320 in manual mode, and then I adjusted the levels/saturation and tweaked some stuff in Paint.NET afterwards. The original image from the camera isn't as vibrant as the final image though.

Here's the original image (http://image.famcraft.com/mu5ab57q) that's straight off the camera.
