I've not had this issue, you may try using your Microsoft account somewhere else and see if it works. Are you sure you're using the right account?

If no staff members are around to give you a tour you can always do /warp tour. It gives you information about the plugins and what they offer. A lot of the players are very friendly so you can always ask them for help as well.
