Let me first of all apologize on behalf of my son for the incident of taking the possession of others. I had a long talk with my son Hug about the incident. He did remember what happen and I can clearly say that it was not an intention of stealing. He is 6 and he did not have clear understanding of the concept of not touching things even they seems abandoned or free to take. I reviewed with him the concept of having his possession and everything else is untouchable unless explicitly said otherwise, versus if it is not locked I can take it. I guess at this point he understand clearly the root cause and also had opportunity to learn a valuable life lesson thanks to your server environment. I try to rise him to be as independent as possible at this age and that unfortunately will bring some mishaps on the way.
Given the above and his understanding and remorse of his action I would kindly ask you to reconsider your decision to ban him.
