The servers crash on their own all the time from glitchy mods. Just jump on IRC like cattangel suggested. You can click Chat above or use your own client.

Move complete! Let me know if anyone has issues connecting to the FTB servers!

The hardware that the FTB servers run on is being moved tonight. It will hopefully be back online by midnight CST.

I've killed everything in the end. I tried selectively killing things but it wouldn't removed the hundreds of thousands until I killed *. Then I had to do it 5 more times. Then it seems to stop respawning them. No idea what they actually were.

Send a PM to supernova or Rubenscherub. One of them would have been the one to decide to ban it.

It's unfortunately a little more complicated than that. The software we use to manage survival and schedule its restarts doesn't work with FTB. There's some janky software managing FTB normal, but nothing at all managing FTB expert. So there's no easy way to do it without spending a lot of time on it.

It's easily to manually resolve the hung servers, though. Just ping an admin :P

Whenever I try to launch it it says,

"Could not reserve enough space for 1572864KB object heap"

Any body have suggestions?  :'(
That means you assigned FTB at least 1.6gb of ram but ran out of available ram when it tried to fill it with the game objects. Clear up more ram by closing other applications or try setting FTB to use only 1gb of ram. It might not load at that low number either, though.

K np.  Thank you for the update.

Funny, the expert server was fine this morning, I was playing on it fine and then poof.  The Expert server also has been really stable until today.
The expert server only appears more stable because no one has reached the glitchy end game mod items or mixed enough mods together to increase the odds of crashing the server. This is one of the reasons I like playing on it :)

The server's been up and down all day, I'd probably blame the server for now :P

The server stopped responding for unknown reasons. It's been restarted and is joinable again.

I deleted world 86 and tried to regenerate it but it won't let me. Same error that you're getting when you get kicked from there. The age is busted, sorry. Try making another one.

Your books are unreadable and generally untouchable by other players in a PS field. However, with so many mods, we're not able to block absolutely all actions by some blocks and tools and cosmetic items that don't play nice with any protections without removing them from the game and breaking pack tech trees, so keep in mind that we can't completely protect you on FTB from people and glitches. This is why we pay closer attention to who is allowed on FTB.

To allow quarries to work in your PS field, add player [BuildCraft]
/ps allow [BuildCraft]
Beware that this will allow anyone's quarry to work in your PS field(s).

For the squid issue, you most likely had overlapping PS fields and were not toggling the prevent-mob-spawn on all of the fields covering your location.
