Famcraft staff,

My son was banned last night from your server. He didn't notify us until this morning, after he had already tried to become unbanned.
He had a discussion with me and his mother about what happened on the server as well as his ban plea. He didn't know what he did wrong, and neither did we until we read your reply on his plea. After some talking with him, we've made him realize that the situation was not one for him to take part in, no matter what he thought of it. As you put it, he had no idea what was going on at the time, but still commented on the staff's decisions.
He is sorry for what he has done, and also wants to get back on the server without causing any disruption. His sister also uses the account, so she is hurting from this as well.
I would appreciate if you could unban him, as he will definitely not be putting himself where he doesn't belong after our conversation. He has had no issues in the three years since he had first joined this server.

 Thank you for taking the time to post a plea for your child. I wanted to discuss the possible unbanning with the staff member who was involved in the situation before making a decision.

 While Pesky has been a member here for 3 years without any issues, that is all the more reason he should know to trust the staff team here to make sound decisions when dealing with problematic players.

 I can assure you at any time Pesky may have needed any kind of assistance, the Famstaff team was right here to help him.
  I can also tell you that the chat on his screen is not riddled with swearing and negativity due to the Famstaff team.
 Additionally, I can tell you he is able to play here in a safe and happy environment because of the staff members who devote time on a daily basis to be here and help watch over the server.

 The staff member he rudely addressed is an upstanding community member, a father of one of our players and a devoted, selfless Sr.Mod here on Famcraft. I'm sure you can understand the level of respect we all have for this gentleman as well as all of our other staff members.
 
 This staff member saw what he believed could potentially be unwanted pvp among a group of players. He teleported to their location to make certain there was not an issue. Upon his arrival, the unruly gang of players made every effort to kill him - which was not only entirely uncalled for, but also a huge violation of our "agreed-upon pvp ONLY" rules. This situation resulted in multiple bans.

 Pesky was in no way involved in this situation beyond making negative comments in chat. It was made clear he needed to stop, yet continued. This is why his comments were particularly unacceptable. Please note "you still  should not be calling people that" does not even refer to any kind of name being called. It was commented that the ill-behaved players had "issues" if they found it acceptable to attack a moderator.

 This was not the best way for Pesky to handle this.
 
 The SrMod involved in this situation feels okay to see Pesky have a second chance. I'm not certain I would have arrived at that same conclusion on my own. As it is, Pesky will be unbanned this time. We will look forward to seeing him back on the server soon.

Me and my son (who is also named Kevin (Jr)) have both read your reply. He is extremely relieved that he can start playing again. Thank you for giving him another chance, this time with a new lesson learned.
