Enchanted Books Glitch

 It seems we are seeing a glitch when a player attempts to use an enchanted book + an item on an anvil.

 Some players have reported being charged the xp, yet when they go to remove the newly enchanted item, they instead receive the original enchanted book and item back, with no enchantment applied to the item.

Actually I went through the same, but I found out that if you gain any exp orbs, Your lvls will automatically fix and be how it was before.

For example:

If you enchant and/or fix on anvil a lvl 10 exp on a pickaxe, If it takes all your exp away but doesnt combine the enchant, and you would be at lvl 0 exp. Just go grab some more exp, and it will fix it, and go back to lvl 10 exp.

At least that is what I found out how to solve it so far, I hope yall can work this out as well until Micah or bk can find a solution c:

This reminds me of an old glitch we used to have, when you would switch dimensions (go from the overworld into the nether, for example) your xp would appear to reset to 0, but if you would relog or get any more xp, it would correct itself to the amount of xp that you should have had.

Indeed, I remember that glitch. Can anyone else confirm that fixes the problem?
