Recommend a texture pack
« on: July 31, 2017, 09:55:45 AM »
Hi

Can someone please recommend a texture pack that works with the Mac version which makes the sky look realistic?

Many thanks.

Well I don't know about Macs, but most shaders make the sky look cool! The one I use is made by Chocapic13, just Google "Chocapic13 shaders". The shaders mod comes with Optifine, but I don't know if Optifine has updated to 1.12 yet.

Yeah, if you want realistic skies, most shaders have them, and like Plurb said, there is a texture pack for it! On an unrelated note, Vader's Stacked Items makes change the amount shown on the block you have. For example, if you have 1 iron bar, it shows one, if you have 2 iron bars, the texture is 2 in bars, 3 and so on. It doesn't relate to realistic skies but thought I'd include it because it's awesome! lol (it also changes the texture of books, based on the enchantment!)

Yeah, Lemmy, I've seen that one and it's pretty cool.

But I use Faithful, and then a texture pack that makes better wool so if I have too many then it kind of slows down my computer a tad.

Yeah, I name pics that I'm going to delete "delete" so if I know I'm going to erase a picture I just call it "delete" to overwrite the last "delete" to save time... confusing when I say it outloud  :P
