Share your feelings and thoughts about the Minecraft 1.6 update!

I don't know, my personal 2 favorite additions in order are:
1. Carpets
2. Horses

I need to wait for the server to be 1.6 before i really play 1.6 haha.
To be hoinest, im looking forward the most for carpets and haybales.
Problably wont be using horses very much, so i am not very exited about those.

Again i think they have added way to few new blocks to the game

I don't really care for the horses. I think I can use the carpet to improve a park out corse I have inside a pumpkin.

What's up with you guys hating on the horses? This is a HUGE step for Minecraft and everyone on the web is buzzing about it!

My Thoughts about The Horse Update:

I like the Horses/Mules (I don't really like the donkeys  )

Horse Armor is great + you can enchant it with thorns

The leads are great because they can lead ANY animal

The Carpets give more ways to decorate your home.

Hardened clay is like wool, but more of a concintrated color rather than soft textures.

The blocks of coal are great too because storing coal will be better, and there's another block to decorate with.

I love the idea of Name Tags, BUT they defeated the purpose by making them uncraftable.

I don't really see the point in Hay Bails, but whatever! Another block to decorate with!

Texture packs can hold SOUNDS now for making your minecraft even more realistic!



So I really like The Horse Update, I don't know why you all don't like the horses though...

I think the horses will help serve a purpose.  First, it gives a reason to add a new element to clan areas or personal property.  Horse trails.  Also, with large area homesteads, they provide a great way to get around quickly without using up all of your /home's

I'm also a fan of coal blocks, but only because I use a silk touch to mine the ore and fortune 20 to harvest.  It leaves me with a LOT of coal and the blocks will provide a way to store it all in less space.

The rest, I could care less other than the new villager sounds.  Annoying!

i think they should add some more....useful blocks >.<

like steps and half slabs of:
iron
gold
diamond
glass
wool

etc..

as well as the ability to put more than one type of halfslab within one blocks space

oh, and other colored fences, and maybe the ability to color sand, to get colored glass >.<

but woot for 1.6 for now..lol

When there were rumors of the ender dragon before they introduced it, I was hoping it would be a tamable and ridable pet. Clearly that is not the case

No, you can only lead non hostile mobs
