Hunger Games

Hello everyone this is zOracle the leader of Royals Clan, as the leader i am trying to make the clan both private for members (access to Spawners) as well as a community type clan with adventure maps etc. for the first installment i am thinking of an amazing Hunger Games Map that anyone can play for absolutely free hosted by myself, for me to make this work i need the help from you the community as after all i am building it for your use so i really want to make it special for you Guys & Gals; so please answer the poll and feel free to post additional ideas in the comments section. i will be checking this daily so all replies will be viewed and taken into account, on a side note i would like to add this will not be the only map i make there will be others including stylish pvp arenas, Parkour maps as well as quest maps where you do a type of sign hunt so please stayed tuned and post additional ideas.

This sounds good you should do a wild west kinda map where there is a inn and jail and such just a idea

ok also i didnt rad any comments or anything i only voted so sorry if i repeat something but i think it would be cool if it was like real hg, no chests everywhere, the weapons are the same things ect. Like we could get someone who has access to flying and every once in a while the send down food ect to random players like parachutes and also you could make a texture pack for people to download turning eggs aand snowballs into spears and throwing knives and it would all be iron weapons or someything like that

I agree with Cleo, when I play Hunger Games, I like to play like that. Start off with nothing. But if we stick to the survival aspect, I like to play with nothing like your playing in a survival world. You have to punch trees and get resources and that stuff. That would be cool.

Thank you so much for all your replies, it helps me so much, I too would very much like the survival experience but the problem i have with letting people break trees etc to gain resources is that there would be no pvp as everyone would be mining for diamonds and i would have to reset the stadium after every game as eventually there would be no resources

Another idea is let everyone choose their district, so d1,2 and 4 are careers so they team up, and they start of in a better area eg in front f where the best weapons are. and other districts could team up with their district parteners

Cleo, it would be overpowered to do that. I think we should just have it like a normal survival games, but where you can break blocks, collect resources, etc. it should have the same chance to get a weapon, armor, or food. It wouldn't be fun if one person got like an iron sword off the cornocopia because they are in the career tribute area, and everyone else gets like a leather tunic

just thought id post this to clear a few things,

1. i will not be able to make this arena breakable at this time as id have to replace all the blocks after the game as well as there being no action due to players going mining
2. you can team if you want but as shown in the movies only ONE person can win
3. there will be more than one arena i may be able to make a quick arena where you can break etc
4. the districts idea is fun in some instances as i can do a team game with a district score board where you earn points for your district and the winning district over a period of time gets a prize.
5. it will be hard to police the arena as players in theory can sneak in equipment so i will number the gear

I think we should make it so that a clan can volunteer to be in the games, and 2 people from that clan will go into the games (if they want to, of course) and should be teamed up, just like in the books/movies so everyone can have 1 teammate so it will be fair.
