You finish it, but in your hurry, you've made some hasty mistakes. There are typos. If there are dates, those are wrong. Your teacher notices and thinks you're kind of dumb. You present it for the class, and they point and laugh at you.
If it's a school project, that is.
If it's a personal project like building a bench or something, well, your bench breaks and your hurt bum.
